Siggy Pictures

Your siggy has four lines. The intent is for:
1 Text Line
1 Pic Line
2 Ticker lines

A siggy may only have 1 pic line. The pic line can have multiple pics in it going across, but it should not exceed 320 pixels high. This means those of you that have pics on top of each other will need to change them.

Ticker lines may be substituted for Text. For example, you might have a name, DSO, and DD line and you might have a quote line.

The primary focus of these guidelines is to focus on the use of pictures. Pictures should be no more than 320 pixels high and no longer stacked on top of each other.

I had to do my through photo bucket and paste the URL in the preview box. Hope it works for you. Oh, and if I resized the picture it only stuck if I chose "save a copy" on photo bucket

I am trying to add a ticker and it keeps teeling me something about invalid. I copy the URL and paste it in the signature photo space but it doesn't work.

Kirst-I had someone help me with this a while back. Copy and paste the URL into the actual Signature box, not the picture area. So the big box in the area under Edit Signature, not the place that says Signature Picture. Hope this helps, and Welcome!

Try re-uploading to photobucket with a different file name, then resizing it there, then redoing your signature. You may need to delete cookies and restart your browser, like someone else said. HTH

Testing mine too. Photobucket is acting up and my second picture looks huge but I resized it to 320. :dunno:


I can't figure out how to get 2 siggy pics next to each other without deleting the one that was already there! HELP???
Once you have the first picture in place click on the white to remove the little blocks around the picture. Then use the arrows on your keyboard to move the little blinky thing to the end of you picture THEN click on the space bar. This will put you below your existing picture. Then you can add another pic. Hope this makes sense and helps. :)

This just does not work for me for some reason. I currently have one line of text in my siggy box. If I try to add a ticker the code wraps around to take up an additional 4 lines in the siggy box and then it will not let me post it because I have 5 lines of text. What am I doing wrong?

You need to combine the text, and little pics to ONE line.
Remove any extra spaces, or lines.

How Do I Do A Ticker

You need to find whatever web site you want to use.There are lots of them. You can often right click on someone else's and click open in new window and it will take you directly to that site. Create your ticker according to their instructions. Then copy the BB code and paste it into your signature on APA. HTML codes will not work so make sure you copy and paste the right one.

Paste it in the same area you are placing your tickers.

You are allowed four lines, but depending on how big a code is or how big an image is- You can be limited. (the pregnology ticker is limiting you)

Don't hit enter after placing the tickers. If you aren't hitting enter, then it means your tickers are too big for them to fit on one line.
I know everyone wants that one special ticker but sometimes to get it all to work out you need to do a little tweaking and possibly getting different tickers.
