Ok, just wanted to give you all an update, and see what wisdom you might have to offer me!
So it had been close to a week and I'd heard nothing, and my Dr is usually really good about getting back to me on test results. Naturally I called to check on it, and my Dr was unexpectedly out for the week - apparently she came down with the flu! So they were going to try to locate his results and have another Dr from the group call me back. Today I get a call, and it's the nurse, and she said the Dr who was supposed to call me had to go to a meeting, but that she would give me the results now and that Dr would call me back tomorrow to answer any questions, etc. NOW - here's what she said. Everything on his test was "well within the normal range", except for the vitality, which was just below where it should be. They said it should be about 75% and his is at about 61%. She stressed that that's not really all that bad, but I told her to go ahead an have the Dr call me tomorrow. I want to ask her if there is anything we can or should do about that, is it anything we should worry about, should we go to the BD daily plan over the BD every other day plan, etc. I just want all the info possible, of course! SO - anyone have any sage advice to share on the subject?? |

if he had a low count, then you would worry more about the frequency of BDing, but if he count is "well within normal" as she said, then you should really not worry about that so much. I would definitely take this as a good report. Congrats

Thanks! Yeah, that's what it sort of sounded like to me, but I wasn't sure. I'll ask for more details tomorrow when the Dr calls, just b/c I'm an information whore - lol! And if his vitality isn't where they want it to be, I'd like to know if there's anything we can do about that, or if we need to BD more often. (gee... that'll break DH's heart. HA!)
So it does seem like good news. But... I guess that could also mean the problem is ME. Oh well. I guess we'll just keep going a day at a time, right? What else can we do! ![]() |

Ok. Just spoke to the Dr, and she said not to worry about it. She said one option was to repeat the test, but she wouldn't even recommend that at this time. She sees a lot of these results, and this one looks "pretty darned good" to her. So she said we could "check this off our list".
So we'll see if this month is effective, and if not I'm off to the fertility specialist. Yay. thanks to everyone for your support!! |

We've been trying since March of '08, and have had two losses. It's been 7 months since the last one, and given I got pregnant very quickly with the first two, it's a little strange that we've had trouble since.
hopefully this month was successful. We'll see. |

Thanks, Vickey. I really appreciate that! So many women have gone through the same and worse on here.
I hope we ALL get some good news! ![]() |
