Hi! (xpost June expecting)
Hi, I decide that it’s time to introduce myself here! I’m just shy of 9 weeks pregnant with twins. I’ve been on APA for a while, I used to post in STC but I faded out around the time we started IVF. Mostly I’ve been in random the last several months, tho I can only log on days that I work from home.
Anyhow- I’m 39 and we are very exited to be pregnant! We’re still a bit gun shy and have only told immediate family so far. My first beta was 2168 (17DPO) & my second 5232 so the nurse said right off the bat to be prepared for two. I had my first u/s at 6w2d and we saw 2 heartbeats. My first OB appt was last Thurs, everybody looked good and measured 8w3d. I had about 3 weeks of getting nauseas if I didn’t eat every couple hours, now I am mostly just hungry all the time. Sometimes it makes me a little nervous that I don’t feel terrible, but my dr said I was lucky, so I’m trying to look at it that way! We have a NT u/s scheduled for a couple days before Thanksgiving, so we’ve got a few weeks before we get to see our lo’s again. At my appt, the dr said that my uterus was pretty much taking up all of my pelvis, so I think I might start showing somewhat soon? I know I should be careful what I wish for, but it would be so nice to have a concrete sign, in between appts, that things are moving along. So, that’s my mini-novel….I’ve read thru some of the posts, and it looks like there is a bunch of great info in here. I’m looking forward to getting to know everybody!

Welcome! I'm a IVF'er as well and pregnant with twins! My first beta at 14 days past transfer was 1952 so sounds like we both have similar numbers! I started showing at about 10 weeks as well and at this point, I look like I'm about 6 months pregnant!
I'm almost 19 weeks and am having two boys! Congratulations on the successful IVF and on becoming a mommy!
