Bobbi Bergman Champions Pregnancy Wellness

The American Pregnancy Association is honored to announce our relationship with Mrs. Iowa 2004, Bobbi Bergman, in advancing the mission of reproductive and pregnancy wellness throughout the United States.

Mrs. Bergman will be competing in The Mrs. International Pageant, taking place July 23-24, 2004 at the North Shore Center of the Performing Arts in Skokie, Illinois. The International Pageant has traditionally helped women around the world reach a greater potential in their lives with their families, their careers and their value to the community.

Bobbi attended Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio and The American University in Washington, D.C. She holds degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science. Bobbi is a former television news anchor working at numerous award winning stations throughout her career. She worked as a journalist in Washington, D.C. and had the opportunity to meet and interview George W. Bush, and Al Gore along with numerous other Congressional representatives. She was most recently at the NBC affiliate in Des Moines, Iowa as the morning anchor. She is currently modeling part-time and hosting corporate training videos. Bobbi' enjoys baton twirling; a sport in which she is a champion twirler! She is married to Dr. Ronald Bergman, and they have a one-year-old daughter, Chloe Jade.

Bobbi has a passion to help women and couples as they begin the journey of starting a family. Her goal is that all families have a positive and rewarding pregnancy experience. Every day in the United States, approximately 2,400 women will experience a pregnancy complication, over 1,200 babies will be born without adequate prenatal care resulting in premature birth, and over 5,000 women will experience a pregnancy loss. These are just a few of the problems that affect pregnant women every day in the US.

These problems and concerns are what led Bobbi to champion the cause of reproductive and pregnancy wellness. Mrs. Bergman chose to collaborate with the American Pregnancy Association in order to provide women and families across America with a source for accessing reproductive and pregnancy wellness services.

The American Pregnancy Association is honored to partner with Mrs. Bergman, and we wish her much success in the up coming Mrs. International Pageant.
