shutterstock_159611519Yes! Summer is almost here and it’s time to put away the sweaters, sweat pants, and boots, and time to pull out your tees, tanks, and shorts along with your cute and comfy sandals. We all know how hard it is to actually find “cute maternity clothing” that is to die for! So here are a few go to outfit ideas that are comfy and cute that you can wear before, during, and after your pregnancy! If you don’t have these items in your closet you can find most of these items for a great price at your local thrift store, Walmart, Target as well as Ross and other resale and retail shops for under  $30.

Day at the Beach

When it comes to beach attire you have a few different options that you can choose from: one piece or a two piece swimshutterstock_114366109 suit, which Target has a great collection of cute maternity swim suits that you can get for under $30!

Of course you have to have your cute linen cover up with a pop of color from the detailed stitching with some cute flip flops and sunglasses that coordinate with your swim suit and cover up….P.S. don’t forget your woven beach bag to keep the towels, drinks, and snacks for the kiddos.

Catching up with friends

shutterstock_104967560We all need that “girl time” with our friends, either to dinner, book club meeting, and even girls night out to the movies. So just grab those white linen pants with a cute pleated shirt (pink, yellow, or white if you’re doing jeans) with a cute colored blazer in blue, pink or whatever color you prefer. Grab your comfy wedges to match along with your gold accessories and you’re ready to meet up the girls for another fun night out!

Running errands

shutterstock_68788546We all have that day when we just don’t feel like leaving the house, but then we discover that we are out of milk and need grocery’s or that you need to go out and refill a prescription.  At this point you don’t want to get all formal, but still cute and comfortable while you’re out of the house running errands. If your shirt is not dirty from food stains, just grab your favorite pair of colored stretch pants with your chambray shirt, this can be your go to item it can be worn unbuttoned like a jacket or buttoned up with the bottom two  buttons unbuttoned , and a tank or tee underneath. A few accessories wouldn’t hurt, grab your studs a few bracelets and flats or sandals to match and you’re good to go.

Date night with your spouse

It’s time to play dress up! Date night is always fun when your with the one you love.  Pull out that cute little black dress cover it up with a pink blazer if you want to have some fun with color to brighten up the night. If pink is too bright for you, you can go with a nice blue blazer with gold or pink accessories (with the blue blazer) for a pop of color with coordinating wedges or heels if you’re brave!shutterstock_169515545

You can have so much fun with your wardrobe. Maxi dresses and skirts are perfect for the spring and summer time with some cute sandals or wedges which ever you prefer.  One of the reason I love maxi skirts is that they’re comfy and come in a variety of colors and designs, and the cotton material is perfect for the summer heat. If you’re on a budget you can find most of these items at your local thrift store, Goodwill, Walmart, and Target for about $15 to $20. So have a little fun this summer and mix up your wardrobe with pops of color, cute sandals, and cover ups!
